Objective: Develop an understanding of repetition to create visual pattern
Materials: Digital camera 

Tip: Provide samples from three sites for Pattern photography: Urban areas, Building sites, and Country side.  
Examples for each:
Urban [Brick work & paving, road markings, street signs, shop windows, streets, doors]
Construction Sites [Piles of Brick, concrete blocks, timbers, pips, gravel, buckets, ladders]
Countryside: [plowed field, rows of crops & flowers, trees]

Tip: Having students make their own lists may be helpful before they begin shooting.
