As NJ & many other states move towards content tests...this years goal: to create an artistic solution for the new assessments initiative.
I piloted a new project: The daily ART JOURNAL.
Each entry consists of: 1 question, 1 drawing & 1 art term.
{each reflect the project and content covered in the course that week}
As the semester progresses the ART JOURNAL becomes a visual study reference for important vocabulary, content, and a place for creative critical thinking.
I supplied students with a number of old art college magazine/posters to create the front and back their covers, and left over scrap paper for the inside pages.
